Ambrosia Maple Bowl

This large, shallow ambrosia maple bowl is surprisingly lightweight, which attests to the woodturner's skill. The random patterns in the bowl were created by the ambrosia beetle. Kiln drying eliminates the beetles but leaves behind the unique designs they created which are revealed as the bowl takes shape in the  lathe.

12 7/8"dia. x 2 3/4"h.

Finished with 'Bowl Finish', an oil-based, food safe sealant.

 Care: Wipe with a sponge and dry immediately for best results.
