Ambrosia Maple Bowl

A stunning bowl with an incised, diagonal pattern on the bowl's exterior, below the top edge.

Ambrosia maple is a woodturner’s delight, with its  pale blonde color  and random streaks in shades of grey and brown. These unusual patterns are created by the ambrosia beetle. Kiln drying eliminates the beetles but leaves behind the unique designs they created which are revealed as the bowl takes shape in the lathe.

Finished with 'Bowl Finish', an oil-based, food safe sealant. 

10 1/4"dia. x 3 1/4"h.

Care: Wipe with a sponge and dry immediately for best results.
