A subtle, vintage beauty. Layla's quiet palette of earthy pale yellow, black and cream with hints of pale red is a dramatic contrast to the more tradition brightly colored Zaiane style rugs. The design motif includes small diamond patterns, zig zags with other traditional Berber symbols. The the repeating triangular patterns are also typical of these rugs. The Zaiane Confederation consists of a dozen or more tribes who reside in the northwestern region of Morocco between Rabat and Meknes.
