Oh my, this is such a stunning and unique hand knotted work of art. We believe it was woven by women of the Chichaoua tribe who live in the plains region between Marrakesh and the Atlantic coast. The color is a rich, vivid shade of red with a strong but simple Berber design in deep gray wool. The pattern is two "stepped" diamonds with smaller elongated diamonds and zigzag design on long edges. We've never seen another quite like it. Astonishing!

Did we mention that all of the rugs in this weaving style are reversible? During the cold winter months in Berber homes they are used face up, then reversed in the summer.

Size: 2'8" x 10'2"

Care instructions:Spot clean with cold water. Professional cleaning recommended. Avoid vacuuming. If possible, shake out rug outside to prevent pulling out wool.
